Training Coordinator

Job Description:

Develop and conduct training program for all employees.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement training program for new hire manufacturing mechanics.

  • Learn all current policies and procedures for new hire training.  Request improvement changes as needed.

  • Coordinate with other department managers for new hire and continuous training requirements. Request support as needed to ensure complete training for all employees.

  • Track all training initiatives for completion, including verification of training.

  • Maintain accurate training records.

  • All other duties as requested or assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in all wiring harness operations. IPC or J-STD certification or ability to be certified. Trainer certification a plus.

  • Basic working knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) to include internet search capability.


Communication Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal, listening, written and presentation skills.

  • Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand.

  • Ability to understand the speech of another person.


Working Conditions:

  • Full time position.

  • Office environment.

  • Flexible Schedule-work hours may differ from the normal company start and stop time.

  • Classification for this position – Exempt.

  • Some travel may be required to attend professional meetings or training


Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.

  • Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly.

  • Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects.

  • Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away.

  • Frequently work on projects that require deadlines.

  • Frequently bend to file and maintain files.

  • Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds.
