Engineering Administrative Assistant

Job Description:

The role of Engineering Administrative Assistant is to process all paperwork changes pertinent to Engineering/Manufacturing. The Engineering Administrative Assistant will update and implement changes to work instructions, in-process routers, engineering operating procedures, standard operating procedures, etc. as necessary. The Engineering Administrative Assistant works closely with management, first article personnel, engineering, production, and document control to meet the needs of manufacturing in a timely manner. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: 

  • Develop in-process routers. 

  • Transfer work instruction to alternate formats. 

  • Administer adjustments to bill of materials/in process routers and/or work instructions during all stages of the build process. 

  • Communicate with multiple departments to gather information on paperwork updates as needed. 


Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Competent working with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) to include internet search capability. 

  • Ability to read and comprehend cable drawings. 

  • Ability to read and comprehend specifications and standards. 

  • 1 year experience within an office environment.
